କଏଦୀଙ୍କୁ ଜଗିବ AI କ୍ୟାମେରା । ଜେଲ ଭିତରେ ଏବଂ ପରିସରରେ କଏଦୀଙ୍କୁ AI କ୍ୟାମେରା ଜଗିବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଜେଲ ଡିଜି ସୁଶାନ୍ତ ନାଥ। ଆଜି ମୁଖ୍ୟ ସଚିବଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ବୈଠକ ପରେ ଜେଲ୍ ଡିଜି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଯାଏଁ ୨୦ଟି ଜେଲରେ AI କ୍ୟାମେରା ଲାଗି ସରିଛି । AI କ୍ୟାମେରା ଲାଗିବା ପରେ କଏଦୀ ଆଉ ଖସି ପାରୁ ନାହାନ୍ତି । ଜେଲ୍ ପାଚେରୀ ପାଖକୁ ଗଲେ ଆଲାର୍ମ ବାଜୁଛି । ଜେଲ ଭିତରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଗଣ୍ଡଗୋଳ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ପାଇଁ ଖୁବଶୀଘ୍ର AI କ୍ୟାମେରା ଲାଗିବ । ଫଳରେ ଏକାଧିକ ଲୋକ ଏକାଠି ହେଲେ ଆଲର୍ଟ ମିଳିବ । ଏଥିସହ ରାଜ୍ୟର ୭ ସର୍କଲ ଜେଲରେ ମୁକ୍ତାକାଶ ଜେଲ୍ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ ବୋଲି ଜେଲ୍ ଡିଜି ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।

Odisha is strengthening prison security with the deployment of AI-powered surveillance cameras in jails across the state. Director General of Prisons Sushant Nath said that AI cameras have already been installed in 20 jails and help prevent escape attempts by triggering alarms whenever inmates approach prison walls. Speaking after a meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary, he said AI surveillance will soon be expanded inside prisons to detect disturbances, with automatic alerts generated when large groups of inmates gather. He also announced that open prisons will be introduced in seven circle jails across the state.
