Yellow Alert for 11 Odisha Districts as Heavy to Very Heavy Rain Continues

ଗୁଣ୍ଡିଚା ପରେ ଭିଜିବ ବାହୁଡ଼ା । ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୬ ତାରିଖ ଅର୍ଥାତ ଆହୁରି ୪ ଦିନ ଯାଏଁ ତୁହାକୁ ତୁହା ବର୍ଷାରେ ଭିଜିବ ଓଡ଼ିଶା। ଏବେ ସାରା ରାଜ୍ୟରେ କାଚୁଛି ବର୍ଷା। ବେହାଲ ଉତ୍ତର-ପଶ୍ଚିମ। ଉପକୂଳରେ ବି ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା । ଆଜି ପାଇଁ ୧୧ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ। ସକ୍ରିୟ ମୌସୁମୀ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଗତକାଲିଠୁ ରାଜଧାନୀ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ସମେତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବର୍ଷା ଲାଗିରହିଛି । ଆସନ୍ତା ଦୁଇ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓ ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ପ୍ରବଳରୁ ଅତିପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବାନେଇ ୧୧ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି କରିଛି ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର । ୫ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଝାରସୁଗୁଡ଼ା, ସମ୍ବଲପୁର, ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ଼, କେନ୍ଦୁଝର ଓ ମୟୂରଭଞ୍ଜରେ ଘଡ଼ଘଡ଼ି ବିଜୁଳି ସହିତ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି । ସେହିଭଳି କଟକ, ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର, କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା, ଯାଜପୁର, ଭଦ୍ରକ ଓ ବାଲେଶ୍ବରକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି କରିଛି ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ।

Odisha is expected to witness continuous rainfall till July 26 under the influence of an active southwest monsoon, raising the possibility of a rain-soaked Bahuda Yatra. Rain has been lashing several parts of the state, including Bhubaneswar, since yesterday. The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a Yellow Alert for the next two days, warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and heavy rain are likely in Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj, while Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore are also under Yellow Alert.
