Woman Magistrate Files Dowry Harassment Case; Husband Arrested in Bhubaneswar

A dowry harassment case has been registered at the Bhubaneswar Mahila Police Station following allegations made by a woman magistrate against her husband and in-laws. Acting on the complaint, police arrested the accused, identified as S.K. Ijazur Rehman, a resident of Bapuji Nagar. According to police, disputes related to dowry had allegedly been continuing within the family for some time. The complainant accused her husband and family members of subjecting her to repeated mental and physical harassment. Following the investigation and complaint, the accused was arrested and produced before a court by the Mahila Police Station.
