Kakatpur, 15/04 (Tushar Dixit): Today, the Subhadra Shakti Ceremony and Service Center was inaugurated by the state government in the premises of Kakatpur Government High School. Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida first visited Maa Mangala Temple. Upon seeing the gathering of devoted pilgrims near the main entrance in the Mangala market area, she stepped out of her car and walked to the temple for darshan. Observing the tent arrangements made for the devotees, she appreciated the efforts of the Trust Board.

Later, attending the program held at Kakatpur Government High School, she highlighted various developmental initiatives. She mentioned that each step of Kakatpur’s development would be brought to public attention, and that the geographical landscape of the Mangala temple area would be transformed within two years. She emphasized the revival of the Prachi River, the development of the Ashta Shambhu Pithas located on its banks, and the protection of all associated mathas and ashrams. She invited everyone to take part in this movement.

In her speech, she reiterated that Kakatpur’s geography would change in two years with the construction of a bridge as part of the river revival project. This bridge will ensure easy access to the temple for devotees arriving at Prachi Ghat, facilitating all types of gatherings and eliminating inconvenience. All the mathas and temples will be secured as part of the initiative.

She also toured an exhibition featuring over 50 stalls set up by self-help groups. During the Subhadra Shakti Ceremony, Kakatpur Block Chairman Sridhar Nayak presided over the event, which saw participation from BJP MLA candidate Baidhar Mallick, MP Representative Sudarshan Swain, former MLA Surendra Sethi, Kakatpur Mandal President Kalandhi Dixit, Saroj Mishra, Lalit Mohan Rath, women’s leader Rajalaxmi Das, and CDPO Mary Michael.
