Rayagada News: Aditya Alumina Refinery Onboards First Batch of Apparel Trainees

Rayagada, – Aditya Alumina Refinery, a unit of Hindalco Industries Limited under the Aditya Birla Group, has taken a significant step towards empowering local communities by onboarding the first batch of apparel trainees. This initiative is part of the company’s flagship CSR program aimed at providing skill development training to girls and women in rural areas.

The training program is designed to prepare trainees for employment opportunities in the upcoming apparel factory being set up near the refinery and power plant at Kansariguda Village. This initiative is expected to generate employment for over 500 women in the initial phase, contributing to the socio-economic development of the region.

The company’s efforts to promote sustainable livelihoods and financial independence among women and girls from nearby communities highlight its commitment to fostering positive change in the region. This initiative is poised to make a lasting impact on the lives of many, enhancing both skill sets and employment prospects.
