A critically injured patient from Balangir has been given a new lease of life after doctors successfully completed a challenging two-hour surgery. The patient sustained severe injuries when he fell from a tree, causing the wooden handle of a spade (Kodal) to pierce his chest and reach up to his neck. Through exceptional skill, courage and relentless effort, the medical team accomplished what seemed nearly impossible. Overwhelmed with gratitude, the patient says he witnessed God inside the operation theatre—not in divine form, but in the form of the doctors who saved his life.
