A major road accident occurred on the Khandagiri Overbridge in Bhubaneswar when a goods-laden truck rammed into the rear of an iron-laden truck, leaving the driver trapped inside the cabin. According to the source, three PCR teams, personnel from Khandagiri Police Station, and the Fire Services rushed to the spot and carried out a rescue operation. The truck door was cut open using a gas cutter to rescue the driver, who was later admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in critical condition. The source does not mention the cause of the collision.
