A District and Sessions Court in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, has sentenced Viraj alias Jitendra Pathak to death in the brutal murder of 18-month-old Aarav. The verdict was delivered on July 10, just 40 days after the crime, following a fast-track trial. According to the source, the accused allegedly murdered the toddler after his marriage proposal to the child's mother was rejected. Police completed the investigation and filed the chargesheet within six days, helping expedite the trial.
