A 103-year-old woman, Habiban Khatun, has finally regained possession of her land after fighting a legal battle for 35 years in East Champaran, Bihar. The land dispute, involving around 1,600 square feet, had been pending since 1994. Following a Civil Court order, the district administration officially handed over the land to her.
