Red Warning for 8 Odisha Districts, Orange Alert for 12 as Depression Intensifies

ଉତ୍ତର-ପଶ୍ଚିମ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର ଏବଂ ସଂଲଗ୍ନ ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶା-ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ ଉପକୂଳରେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିବା ସୁଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଲଘୁଚାପ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଅବପାତର ରୂପ ନେଇଛି । ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଆସନ୍ତା ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପାଇଁ ସମ୍ବଲପୁର, ବରଗଡ଼, ବଲାଙ୍ଗୀର, ନୂଆପଡ଼ା, ଅନୁଗୋଳ, ବୌଦ୍ଧ, ସୋନପୁର ଏବଂ କନ୍ଧମାଳ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପାଇଁ ରେଡ୍ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି, ଯାହାଫଳରେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପ୍ରବଳରୁ ଅତି ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଥିବା ସୂଚନା ଦିଆଯାଇଛି । ସେହିପରି ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ଼, ଝାରସୁଗୁଡ଼ା, ଦେବଗଡ଼, କେନ୍ଦୁଝର, ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ, କଟକ, ନୟାଗଡ଼, ଗଞ୍ଜାମ, ଗଜପତି, ରାୟଗଡ଼ା, କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି ଏବଂ କୋରାପୁଟ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପାଇଁ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟ ୯ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପାଇଁ ୟେଲୋ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି
A depression formed over the northwest Bay of Bengal has prompted the Meteorological Centre to issue weather warnings across Odisha for the next 24 hours. Red Warning has been issued for Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Angul, Boudh, Sonepur and Kandhamal, where extremely heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely. Orange Warning has been issued for Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Kendujhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi and Koraput, while the remaining nine districts are under Yellow Warning as the depression continues to influence weather conditions across the state.
