ପୁରୀ ଶଙ୍କରାଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଲେ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ। ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀ ପୁରୀ ଗୋବର୍ଦ୍ଧନ ପୀଠର ଜଗଦଗୁରୁ ଶଙ୍କରାଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟି ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଭିକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଏହା ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ସୌଜନ୍ୟମୂଳକ ସାକ୍ଷାତକାର। ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସଂସ୍କୃତି ଓ ପରମ୍ପରାରେ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଶଙ୍କରାଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟଙ୍କ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଓ ମାର୍ଗଦର୍ଶନ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିବେଚନା କରାଯାଏ।

Ahead of the Rath Yatra, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited the Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Govardhan Math (Govardhan Peeth), Puri, and sought his blessings. The meeting was a courtesy call held before the world-famous festival. In Odisha's cultural and religious tradition, the Shankaracharya's guidance and blessings are regarded as significant ahead of the annual Rath Yatra celebrations.
