Rainwater Won't Hinder Rath Yatra: Fire Services Assure Full Preparedness in Puri

Despite continuous rainfall in Puri, authorities have assured that the Rath Yatra 2026 will proceed without major disruption.
Fire Services DG Sudhanshu Sarangi said that although rainwater has accumulated up to ankle level in some areas, the waterlogging is not severe enough to obstruct the pulling of the chariots. He also confirmed that fire and emergency service personnel are fully prepared to handle any situation during the festival.
