The Odisha Crime Branch has stepped up its investigation into the disappearance of sensitive files from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), including the Justice A.S. Naidu Commission report on the Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati murder and the subsequent Kandhamal violence. Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said the files had been deleted from a computer hard disk, and efforts are underway to retrieve the data using modern digital forensic technology.
