ପୁଅକୁ ବଂଚାଇବାକୁ ଯାଇ ବୁଡ଼ିଗଲେ ବାପା । ପାରାଦୀପ ଉପକଣ୍ଠ ଭୂତମୁଣ୍ଡାଇ ନିକଟରେ ଏହି ଅଘଟଣ ଘଟିଛି। ଆଜି ମହାନଦୀରୁ ପାଣି ଉଠାଇବାକୁ ୩୦ ଜଣ କାଉଡ଼ିଆ ଯାଇଥିଲେ । ଆଉ ପାଣି ଉଠାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ହିଁ ଏହି ଅଘଟଣ ଘଟିଛି । ନିଖୋଜ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ହେଲେ ପାରାଦୀପ ନିମିଢି ଗାଁର ଈଶ୍ବର ବାରିକ । ଈଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ୮ ବର୍ଷର ପୁଅ ପାଣି ଉଠାଇବା ବେଳେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ବୁଡି ଯାଉଥିଲେ। ଇଶ୍ବର ପାଣିକୁ ଡେଇଁ ପୁଅକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବା ବେଳେ ନିଜେ ସ୍ରୋତରେ ଭାସିଯାଇଥିଲେ । ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ କୁଜଙ୍ଗ ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ ଖୋଜାଖୋଜି ଜାରି ରହିଛି । ସେପଟେ ପୁଅକୁ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କରାଯାଇଛି ।

A police team was allegedly attacked and a police vehicle vandalised during an operation to apprehend an accused at Goru Bazar Pada in Kantabanji, Balangir district. According to the source, a group of people surrounded the police personnel, assaulted them, and damaged the official vehicle while officers were carrying out the operation.
One police personnel sustained injuries in the incident and was admitted to Kantabanji Hospital for treatment. Police have detained two persons in connection with the alleged assault and vandalism, while an investigation is underway to identify and trace others who may have been involved.
