More than 20 girls were inside a hostel room—some studying while others were having breakfast—when they suddenly spotted a venomous snake. The incident occurred at the Tribal Girls' Hostel in Gudial Bandh under Barasahi block of Odisha's Mayurbhanj district. The sight of the snake triggered panic, forcing the students to rush out of the room. A trained snake rescuer was later called to safely capture the reptile, averting a major mishap.
