Odisha Govt Puts Urban Bodies on High Alert Amid Heavy Rain, Waterlogging Threat

ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ଓ ଜଳ ଜମିବା ଆଶଙ୍କା । ହାଇଆଲର୍ଟରେ ସମସ୍ତ ସହରାଞ୍ଚଳ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ସଂସ୍ଥା (ULB)। ହାଇ ଆଲର୍ଟରେ ରହିବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଲେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର। ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଓ ନଗର ଉନ୍ନୟନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କୃଷ୍ଣଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ମହାପାତ୍ରଙ୍କ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ।'ଜରୁରୀ ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ପାଇଁ ୟୁଏଲ୍ ବି ସଜାଗ ରହିବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ରାଜ୍ୟର ସମସ୍ତ ମହାନଗର ନିଗମ, ପୌରପାଳିକା ଓ ଏନଏସିକୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ। ଚିହ୍ନଟ ହଟ୍ ସ୍ପଟରେ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ରୋକିବା ପାଇଁ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବାକୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ।
Amid forecasts of continuous heavy rainfall, the Odisha Government has placed all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) on high alert over the possibility of urban flooding and waterlogging. Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra has directed civic authorities to remain fully prepared for any emergency situation.
