Odisha Cabinet clears 8 major proposals, approves key welfare reforms

ଲୋକସେବା ଭବନରେ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ୍ର ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବୈଠକ । ୬ଟି ବିଭାଗର ୮ଟି ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଉପରେ କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ୍ ମୋହର। ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଅନୁ ଗର୍ଗଙ୍କ ସୂଚନା।ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ମାଝୀଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ବୈଠକ। ୩୬୧ କୋଟିରେ ହସ୍ତତନ୍ତ ଓ ହସ୍ତକଳା ବିଭାଗର ୧୦ କଳ ପୁନଃ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ। ୨ ବର୍ଷରେ ମୋଟ୍ ୩୦୧ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ଉପରେ ମୋହର। ୨୬ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୬୪ଟି ସ୍ଥାନର ଇଂରାଜୀ ବନାନ ସଂଶୋଧନ ହୋଇଛି। ଲୋନ୍ ପାଇଁ ଉଠା ଦୋକାନୀଙ୍କୁ ଷ୍ଟାମ୍ପ ଡ୍ୟୁଟି ଦେବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ ନାହିଁ।
The Odisha Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhavan, has approved eight major proposals from six departments. Key decisions include the revival of 10 units under the Handloom and Handicrafts Department with an investment of ₹361 crore, along with cumulative approval of 301 proposals over the last two years. The Cabinet also cleared administrative reforms such as correction of English spellings in 64 locations across 26 districts and announced that street vendors taking loans will be exempted from paying stamp duty, marking significant welfare and governance updates in the state.
