ପୁଣି ଦାଦନ ଦୁଃଖ। ତିନି ଦିନ ହେଲା ତାମିଲନାଡୁରେ ପଡ଼ିରହିଛି ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଶ୍ରମିକଙ୍କ ମୃତଦେହ। ମୃତକ ହେଲେ ବୌଦ୍ଧ ବାପୁଜୀନଗରର ରାଜେଶ ମହାନନ୍ଦ । ରୋଜଗାର ଆଶାରେ ରାଜେଶ ଗତ ଏପ୍ରିଲରେ କାମ କରିବାକୁ ତାମିଲନାଡୁ ଯାଇ କପଡା ମିଲରେ ଶ୍ରମିକ ଭାବେ କାମ କରୁଥିଲେ । ଗତ ୩ ତାରିଖରେ ଏକ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣାରେ ରାଜେଶଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିବା କମ୍ପାନୀ କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷ ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ । ତେବେ ସେଠାକୁ ଯାଇ ପୁଅର ମୃତଦେହ ଆଣିବାକୁ ପରିବାର ଆର୍ଥିକ ସକ୍ଷମ ହୋଇନଥିବାରୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗିପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି ।
A fresh migrant labour tragedy has emerged from Odisha, where the body of Rajesh Mahanand, a worker from Bapujinagar in Boudh district, has remained in Tamil Nadu for the past three days following his death in an accident. Rajesh had travelled to Tamil Nadu in April in search of employment and was working in a textile mill. According to company authorities, he died in an accident on June 3. However, his grieving family is unable to bring back his mortal remains due to severe financial constraints. The incident has once again highlighted the hardships faced by migrant workers and their families, who often struggle to cope with tragedies far away from home.
