The divine Niladri Bije rituals have reached their most awaited moment as Lord Jagannath begins His sacred Pahandi procession after concluding His annual stay at the Janma Bedi. Leaving behind lakhs of devotees on the Bada Danda, the Lord now returns to the Shree Jagannath Temple to ascend the Ratna Singhasana. Amid the resonating sounds of ghanta (bells), mardala drums, Vedic chants and devotional hymns, devotees eagerly witness this extraordinary and spiritually uplifting finale of the annual Rath Yatra celebrations.
