ମହାନଦୀରେ ମାଡି ଆସୁଛି ବନ୍ୟା। ଆଉ କିଛି ସମୟ ପରେ ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ମୁଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଦେଇ ପାସ୍ କରିବ। ସାଢେ ୯ ଲକ୍ଷ କ୍ୟୁସେକ୍ ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିବା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ତେଣୁ ଆଜି ବେଶ୍ ଗୁରୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ମହାନଦୀର ଶାଖା ନଦୀ ଲୁଣା, କରାଣ୍ଡିଆ, ଚିତ୍ରତ୍ପୋଳା, ପାଇକା ଏବଂ ଦେବୀ ନଦୀରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବନ୍ୟା ଆସିବ। କନ୍ଦଳ, କୁଶଭଦ୍ରା, ଭାର୍ଗବୀ, ଦୟା ନଦୀରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବଢ଼ିବ। ବନ୍ୟାରେ ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା, ପୁରୀ, ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର, କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହେବ। କଟକ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବାଙ୍କୀ ଓ ଆଠଗଡ଼ ଅଂଚଳ ମଧ୍ୟ ମହାନଦୀ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ହେବ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଂପୃକ୍ତ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ତଳିଆ ଅଂଚଳ ପାଇଁ ସତର୍କ ସୂଚନା ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି।
Floodwaters are rapidly advancing in the Mahanadi River and are expected to pass through Mundali shortly, with an estimated discharge of around 9.5 lakh cusecs. Water levels are also expected to rise in the Mahanadi's distributaries, including the Luna, Karandia, Chitrotpala, Paika, Devi, Kandal, Kushabhadra, Bhargavi, and Daya rivers. Low-lying areas of Khordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, and parts of Cuttack district, including Banki and Athagarh, are likely to be affected. In view of the flood situation, precautionary alerts have been issued for vulnerable areas in the concerned districts. #OdishaTV#OTV
