'Lajja Homa Completed Before Snana Purnima; Sacred Knot to Be Untied on Niladri Bije'

A servitor has explained the significance of the sacred rituals associated with Lord Jagannath during Snana Purnima. According to him, the Lajja Homa has already been completed before the bathing festival, and the Lord is seated on the ceremonial wooden pedestal (Pidha). He further said that the sacred knot (Gainthala), tied as part of the rituals, will be untied only on the day of Niladri Bije, marking the conclusion of the Rath Yatra festivities.
