Chameli Ojha, the Sarpanch of Tikhiri in Odisha's Kendrapara district, has resigned from the primary membership of the BJP during an ongoing protest at Gandhi Marg in Bhubaneswar. In her resignation letter, she alleged that despite serving the party with dedication since joining in 2024, she did not receive support from senior leaders when she sought justice.
