ଦେଶ ବିଦେଶରେ ଇସ୍କନର ଅଦିନିଆ ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗରେ ଗଜପତି ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କ ଅପିଲକୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟାନ କଲା ଇସ୍କନ। ଅ-ତିଥିରେ ରଥ ଓ ସ୍ନାନଯାତ୍ରା ବନ୍ଦ ନିବେଦନ କରିଥିଲେ ଗଜପତି ମହାରାଜା। ଏ ନେଇ ଗତ ୪ ତାରିଖରେ ଗଜପତିଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଲେଖା ଯାଇଥିଲା ଚିଠି। ଜୁଲାଇ ୭ରେ ଗଜପତିଙ୍କୁ ଇ-ମେଲରେ ଉତ୍ତର ପଠାଇଛି ଇସ୍କନ୍। ଇସ୍କନର ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଶ୍ରୀ ମଧୁସେବିତ ଦାସ ଉତ୍ତର ପଠାଇ ଲେଖିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଆମେ ସମ୍ମାନର ସହିତ ଆଲୋଚନାରୁ ଓହରୁଛୁ। ଇସ୍କନ ମୋର ଅନୁରୋଧକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ତାର ସହ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଖ୍ୟାନ କରିଛି ବୋଲି ଗଜପତି କହିଛନ୍ତି।
ISKCON has rejected the appeal made by the Gajapati Maharaja regarding the observance of off-calendar Rath Yatra and Snana Yatra celebrations in India and abroad. The Gajapati Maharaja had written to ISKCON on July 4, requesting that these festivals not be held on non-traditional dates. In its email response sent on July 7, ISKCON stated that it was respectfully withdrawing from further discussions on the matter. The Gajapati Maharaja said that ISKCON had firmly rejected his request.
