ଖୋଲିବ ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାର ଗେଟ୍। ଆଜି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟ କ୍ରମେ ୮ରୁ ୧୦ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଖୋଲିବା ନେଇ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିଛି। ହୀରାକୁଦରେ ଜଳସ୍ତର ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଛି। ଡ୍ୟାମର ଜଳଧାରଣ କ୍ଷମତା ୬୩୦ ଫୁଟ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ସକାଳ ୬ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଜଳସ୍ତର ୬୨୩.୫୨ ଫୁଟ ଥିଲା। ସେକେଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରତି ୩ ଲକ୍ଷ ୬୯ ହଜାର ୩୨୨ କ୍ୟୁସେକ୍ ପାଣି ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାରକୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁଛି ଓ ୬୫ ହଜାର ୫୪୩ କ୍ୟୁସେକ୍ ପାଣି ମହାନଦୀକୁ ନିଷ୍କାସିତ ହେଉଛି୍। ହୀରାକୁଦରେ ଏବେ ୨ ଟି ଗେଟ ଖୋଲା ରହିଛି । ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାରକୁ ଲଗାତାର ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁଛି।
The Hirakud Reservoir is set to open 8 to 10 additional spillway gates in phases today as the water level continues to rise. As of 6 AM, the reservoir level stood at 623.52 feet against its full reservoir capacity of 630 feet. Around 3,69,322 cusecs of water is flowing into the reservoir every second, while 65,543 cusecs is being released into the Mahanadi River. At present, two spillway gates are open, and continuous heavy rainfall has led to a steady inflow of floodwaters into the reservoir, prompting the decision to increase water discharge. #OdishaTV#OTV
