ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାରରୁ ପ୍ରଥମ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନକୁ ନେଇ କଡ଼ା ସୁରକ୍ଷା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା। ଏହାକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ହୀରାକୁଦ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଡ୍ୟାମ୍ ଏବଂ ଏହାର ଆଖପାଖ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ନୋ-ଫ୍ଲାଇଂ ଜୋନ୍ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ। ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଏନେଇ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶନାମା ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି । ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କ ଆଦେଶ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ, ହୀରାକୁଦ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଡ୍ୟାମ୍ ଓ ଏହାର ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ କୌଣସି ଡ୍ରୋନ୍, ମାଇକ୍ରୋଲାଇଟ୍ ବିମାନ କିମ୍ବା ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ମାନବଚାଳିତ ଅଥବା ମାନବବିହୀନ ଉଡ଼ନ୍ତା ଯନ୍ତ୍ର ଉଡ଼ାଇବା ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିଷିଦ୍ଧ କରାଯାଇଛି
The Sambalpur District Administration has declared the Hirakud Main Dam and its surrounding areas a No-Flying Zone ahead of the release of the season's first floodwater from the Hirakud Reservoir. According to the official directive issued by the District Administration, the move has been taken to ensure strict security during the floodwater discharge operation. As per the order of the District Collector, the operation of drones, microlight aircraft, and all other manned or unmanned aerial vehicles has been completely prohibited in and around the Hirakud Main Dam area.
