ଭୋରରୁ ବର୍ଷୁଛି ଯେ ବର୍ଷୁଛି । ଛାଡ଼ିବାର ନାଁ ଧରୁନି । କେଉଁଠି ଅତିପ୍ରବଳ ତ ଆଉ କେଉଁଠି ଅତିଭୀଷଣ । ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବରରୁ ବରଗଡ଼, ମାଲକାନଗିରିରୁ ମୟୂରଭଞ୍ଜ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଜାରି ରହିଛି ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା। ଏହାରି ଭିତରେ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ଘନୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟଚିହ୍ନିତ ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ପରିଣତ ହୋଇଛି ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର। ଉତ୍ତରପଶ୍ଚିମ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର ଓ ପାର୍ଶ୍ଵବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଅଂଚଳରେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟଚିହ୍ନିତ ହୋଇଛି। ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ବର୍ଷା ଆହୁରି ବଢିବ ବୋଲି ଆକଳନ କରିଛି ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର । ଭୀଷଣରୁ ଅତିଭୀଷଣ ବର୍ଷା ନେଇ ୫ ଜିଲ୍ଲା କନ୍ଧମାଳ, ବୌଦ୍ଧ, ଅନୁଗୁଳ, ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ଓ ସୋନପୁରକୁ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି ରେଡ୍ ଆଲର୍ଟ । ସେହିଭଳି ୮ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ଅତିପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ନେଇ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି । ସେହି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗୁଡ଼ିକ ହେଲା କଳାହାଣ୍ଡି, ରାୟଗଡ଼ା, ଗଜପତି, ଗଞ୍ଜାମ, ନୟାଗଡ଼, କଟକ, ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ ଓ କେନ୍ଦୁଝର । ସେହିଭଳି ବାକି ୧୭ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି। ସମୁଦ୍ର ଅଶାନ୍ତ ରହୁଥିବାରୁ ମତ୍ସ୍ୟଜୀବୀଙ୍କୁ ବାରଣ କରାଯାଇଛି । ତେବେ କାଲି ବର୍ଷାରୁ ସାମାନ୍ୟ ଆଶ୍ବସ୍ତି ମିଳିପାରେ । ଆସନ୍ତାକାଲି ଉତ୍ତର ଓ ପଶ୍ଚିମ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ପ୍ରବଳରୁ ଅତିପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇପାରେ । ଏଥିପାଇଁ ୩ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ଅରେଞ୍ଜ ଓ ୧୦ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି ।

Relentless rainfall has continued across Odisha since early morning, with heavy to extremely heavy showers reported from Bhubaneswar to Bargarh and from Malkangiri to Mayurbhanj. Meanwhile, the low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a well-marked low-pressure area. According to the weather office, the system is likely to further enhance rainfall activity across the state.
A Red Alert has been issued for Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Sambalpur and Subarnapur (Sonepur), warning of heavy to extremely heavy rainfall. An Orange Warning has been issued for Kalahandi, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar, while the remaining 17 districts are under a Yellow Alert for heavy rainfall. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea due to rough sea conditions.
The weather office has indicated that rainfall may ease slightly tomorrow. However, north and western Odisha are expected to continue receiving heavy to very heavy rainfall, with Orange Alerts issued for three districts and Yellow Alerts for ten districts.
