Heavy Rain Halts Traffic in Bonai as Bridge Goes Under Knee-Deep Water

ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ବଣାଇରେ ଝଡବର୍ଷା। ହଠାତ୍ ସରସରା ପଞ୍ଚାୟତକୁ ଢାଙ୍କିଦେଲା କଳାହାଣ୍ଡିଆ ମେଘ। ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ସରସରା ପଂଚାୟତ ନିକଟ ଏସ୍ ବାଲାଙ୍ଗର ଫଟାଙ୍ଗ ନାଳରେ ଆଣ୍ଠୁଏ ଉଚ୍ଚର ପାଣି ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ପାଣିର ସୁଅ ଅଧିକ ଥିବାରୁ ବ୍ରିଜ୍ ଦେଇ ଯାତାୟତ ଠପ ହୋଇଯାଇଥିଲା। ଫଳରେ ଉଭୟ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଶତାଧିକ ଗାଡି ଘଣ୍ଟାଏରୁ ଅଧିକ ସମୟ ଯାଏଁ ଅଟକି ରହିଥିଲା ।
Heavy rain lashed Sarsara Gram Panchayat in Bonai of Sundargarh district after dark clouds suddenly engulfed the area. Knee-deep water flowed over the bridge across the S. Balang Phatang Nala, forcing traffic to come to a complete halt. As a result, hundreds of vehicles remained stranded on both sides of the bridge for more than an hour until the water level began to recede.
