Heavy rain lashed Cuttack from early morning as monsoon activity intensified across Odisha. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the formation of a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal by July 3, which is expected to further enhance rainfall across the state. Residents have been advised to remain alert as more showers are likely over the coming days.
