The upcoming animated film “Mahaprabhu Jagannath” has sparked controversy after Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb raised objections to its portrayal of Lord Jagannath. The Gajapati stated that the film’s official trailer, currently circulating on social media, is based on a completely fictional narrative that contradicts the sacred descriptions found in religious scriptures. He expressed concern that the depiction may misrepresent the traditions and spiritual beliefs associated with Lord Jagannath.
