Former Betanati LAMPS Director Arrested in ₹40 Lakh Farmers' Fund Embezzlement Case

ଚାଷୀ ଜମା କରୁଥିଲେ ଋଣ ଟଙ୍କା, ହେଲେ ବ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ଖାତାରେ ଜମା ନକରି ନିଜ ଆକାଉଣ୍ଟରେ ଭରୁଥିଲେ ବାବୁ । କୃଷକଙ୍କ ଋଣ ପରିଶୋଧ ଟଙ୍କା ସହ ସମବାୟ ସମିତିର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପାଣ୍ଠିରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୪୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଆତ୍ମସାତ ଅଭିଯୋଗରେ ବନ୍ଧା ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି ବେତନଟୀ ଲ୍ୟାମ୍ପର ପୂର୍ବତନ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ ହିମାଂଶୁ ଦାସ । ହିମାଂଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରି କୋର୍ଟ ଚାଲାଣ କରି ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ ।

The Vigilance department has arrested Himanshu Das, the former Director of Betanati LAMPS, over allegations of embezzling nearly ₹40 lakh. According to the allegations, farmers deposited money to repay their loans, but instead of crediting it to the bank, the accused allegedly transferred the funds to his personal account. The case also involves the alleged misappropriation of money from various cooperative society funds. Following his arrest, the accused was produced before the court by the Vigilance authorities.
