ବାନ୍ୟା ପାଇଁ ହୀନସ୍ଥା, ଶବଦାହ ପାଇଁ ଚିନ୍ତା। ଡଙ୍ଗାରେ ଆସିଲା ମୃତଦେହ। ବନ୍ୟା ପାଣି ପାଇଁ ହୋଇପାରୁ ନାହିଁ ଶବଦାହ। କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡା ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପଟ୍ଟାମୁଣ୍ଡାଇ ବ୍ଲକ ଶ୍ରୀରାମପୁର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତରୁ ଆସିଛି ଏହି ଦୁଃଖଦ ଚିତ୍ର। ଗତରାତିରେ ଜଣେ ମହିଳାଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ବନ୍ୟା ପାଣି ଥିବାରୁ ଶବଦାହ ହୋଇପାରିନଥିଲା। ଶେଷରେ ଡଙ୍ଗା ଯୋଗେ ଗାଁରୁ ମୃତଦେହ ଅଣାଯାଇଛି। ଶ୍ରୀରାମପୁର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ୯ ହଜାରରୁ ଅଧିକ ଲୋକ ଏବେ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
A heartbreaking scene emerged from Srirampur Panchayat in Pattamundai Block of Kendrapara district, where floodwaters prevented the cremation of a woman who died the previous night. With the village surrounded by floodwater, the body could not be taken to the cremation ground and was eventually transported by boat. The flood situation remains severe, with more than 9,000 residents of Srirampur Panchayat still marooned due to the inundation.
