Fisherman Rescues 70-Year-Old Woman Swept Away in Floodwaters

ବନ୍ୟାପାଣିରେ ଭାସି ଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ବୃଦ୍ଧାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ମୁହଁରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ ମସ୍ୟଜୀବୀ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗୀ। ଏକ ହୁଲି ଡଙ୍ଗାରେ ନଦୀ ଭିତରକୁ ଯାଇ ବୃଦ୍ଧା ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଥିଲେ। ଉଭୟଙ୍କ ସାହାସିକତା ପାଇଁ ଚାରିଆଡୁ ପ୍ରଶଂସାର ସୁଅ ଛୁଟିଛି।
A 70-year-old woman was rescued from the strong flood current of the Kani River after she reportedly jumped from Manpur Bridge in Aul. According to the source, she was swept away by the raging floodwaters before local fisherman Ranjan Das and his associate Srikanta Sahu launched a rescue operation using a traditional wooden boat.
