Fake Additional SP Arrested in Bhubaneswar for Threatening People

ରାଜଧାନୀରେ ଧରାପଡ଼ିଲା ନକଲି ପୋଲିସ ବାବୁ। ନକଲି ଆଡିସନାଲ୍ ଏସପିଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କଲା ଖାରବେଳନଗର ଥାନା ପୋଲିସ। ଧରାପଡିଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଜଣକ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ରଜନୀକାନ୍ତ ମହାନ୍ତି। ନିଜକୁ ଆଡିସନାଲ୍ ଏସପି ପରିଚୟ ଦେଇ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଧମକ ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ଦୁଇ ମାସ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ଗାଡ଼ି ଭଙ୍ଗାରୁଜା ବି ଅଭିଯୋଗ ରହିଛି।
A man posing as an Additional Superintendent of Police (Additional SP) was arrested in Odisha's capital city Bhubaneswar. The accused, identified as Rajanikant Mohanty, was apprehended by the police of Kharvel Nagar Police Station for allegedly impersonating a senior police officer and threatening people using the fake identity. Police said the accused introduced himself as an Additional SP to intimidate members of the public. He is also facing allegations of vandalising a person's vehicle around two months ago. Further investigation is underway to ascertain whether he used the fake identity in other incidents or to influence more people in the city.
