The investigation into the textbook error case has now been handed over to the Crime Branch. The case was registered based on a written complaint filed by SCERT Director Madhusmita Sahu regarding the issue.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has also been constituted to probe the matter and ascertain the circumstances surrounding the alleged errors in the textbooks.
