ଉପରମୁଣ୍ଡରେ ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷା ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାରକୁ ଜଳପ୍ରବାହ ବଢ଼ିବାରେ ଲାଗିଛି। ଜଳସ୍ତର ମଧ୍ୟ କ୍ରମାଗତ ଭାବେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଉଛି। ଆଜି ସକାଳ ୮ଟା ପରେ ଆଉ ୪ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଖୋଲିଛି ।
Heavy rainfall in the upstream catchment has led to a steady increase in water inflow into the Hirakud Reservoir, causing the water level to rise continuously. In response to the rising inflow, authorities opened four more gates of the Hirakud Dam after 8 AM today. The move is aimed at regulating the increasing volume of water entering the reservoir amid the ongoing spell of heavy rainfall.
