ଅବପାତର ରୂପ ନେଇଛି ସୁଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଲଘୁଚାପ। ବାଲେଶ୍ୱରଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୫୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ-ଦକ୍ଷିଣପୂର୍ବରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ରହିଛି ଲଘୁଚାପ। ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପାଇଁ ପଶ୍ଚିମ-ଉତ୍ତରପଶ୍ଚିମ ଦିଗକୁ ଗତି କରି ଚାନ୍ଦବାଲି ଏବଂ ଦୀଘା ମଧ୍ୟରେ, ବାଲେଶ୍ୱର ନିକଟରେ ଉପକୂଳ ଅତିକ୍ରମ କରିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ୨୪ ଘଣ୍ଟା ପାଇଁ ୮ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ରେଡ ୱାର୍ଣ୍ଣିଂ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି।

A well-marked low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal has intensified into a depression and is currently centred near Balasore. According to the IMD, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross the North Odisha coast between Chandbali and Digha, close to Balasore, within the next 24 hours. A Red Warning has been issued for Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Angul, Boudh, Subarnapur and Kandhamal, while several other districts remain under Orange and Yellow alerts.
