ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷର ବୈତରଣୀ ନଦୀରେ ପ୍ରଥମ ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ଦେଖା ଦେଇଛି। ଭଦ୍ରକ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଆଖୁଆପଦା ଆନିକଟ ଠାରେ ସକାଳ 8ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଵୈତରଣୀ ପାଣି ସତର୍କ ସଙ୍କେତ ୧୭.୮୩ମିଟର ଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏହାକୁ ଟପି ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ପ୍ରଵାହିତ ହେଉଛି। ଏଠାରେ ବିପଦ ସଙ୍କେତ ୧୮.୩୩ ମିଟର ଥିବା ବେଳେ ଦିନ ୧ଟା ସୁଦ୍ଧା ୧୮.୧୦ମିଟରରେ ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି।

The Baitarani River has witnessed its first floodwater of the season. At Akhuapada Anicut in Bhadrak district, the river crossed the warning level of 17.83 metres. By 1 PM, the water level had reached 18.10 metres, remaining below the danger mark of 18.33 metres. Authorities are closely monitoring the flood situation.
